Established in 1997 and a registered charity since 2012 (number 1147608). We perform two shows every year; a family panto in the winter, and a full-scale musical in July. As well as amateur theatre in London We also put on lots of other events through the year, such as cabaret nights, quiz nights, treasure hunts, and regular socials.
Our next production will be Bring It On at the Greenwood Theatre. There will be 4 shows being performed on 1st to 3rd 2019 including a Saturday matinee.
The Quay Players are a very friendly London amateur dramatics society and passionate about musical theatre. We are a community group in a professional venue, if you would like to join us then please get in touch on email@example.com.
Our latest pantomime hit the stage in January 2019 where we saw some of our highest audience figures to date and another hugely successful show by a wonderful and talented cast.
Based on the classic novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland tells a tale of a girl named Alice and her adventures through a fantasy world. After following The White Rabbit down a rabbit hole, Alice lands in place unlike anywhere she’s seen before…Wonderland.
In June 1968, the women of Ford Dagenham went on strike for their right to equal pay. With the support of women all over the country, the actions of these factory machinists led directly to the Equal Pay Act 1970: enshrining the right to pay equality between men and women.
50 years later, The Quay Players recently finished a running of the show for 4 performances at The Greenwood Theatre complete with standing ovations at the end of every show. Our talented cast worked incredibly hard and put together an incredible show for the audiences.
