About The Quay Players

The Quay Players was established as an amateur musical theatre group in 1997. We are affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA). We rehearse at St. Anne’s church hall, Thorburn Square, London SE1 every Tuesday, 7.30pm-9.30pm, and generally perform two shows a year: a pantomime at Christmas and a musical in July, plus regular cabarets and open music nights.

This year, our Christmas panto is being performed at our new venue, the Greenwood Theatre at London Bridge. Our pantomimes are great fun to perform in and, for our audiences, they are a truly enjoyable night out in the run-up to Christmas.

Our next Annual General Meeting will be held at St Anne's Hall, Thorburn Square SE1 on 19th September 2017. The Quay Players Society is completely run by voluntary group members and this is your chance to elect the committee, independent financial examiner, review the annual accounts and the events of the previous year. If you are interested in putting yourself forward, please speak to a member of the current committee about what is involved. Nominations will close on 29th August for the committee.
